US bed sizes are measured in inches. For replacements, measure your existing mattress or frame in inches if possible.

Are American bed sizes different from UK bed sizes?
Yes. American bed sizes and UK bed sizes use different names and dimensions, so a US Queen, Wyoming King, Texas King or Florida King will not usually match a standard UK bed size exactly.
If you already have an American bed frame, base or mattress, it is best to measure the space in inches and order a bed or mattress to match. We can make American size beds and mattresses to the exact width and length you need.
What are the most common American bed sizes?
Common American bed sizes include Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King and California King. There are also larger American sizes such as Wyoming King, Texas King, Florida King, Alberta King and Alaskan King.
What size is an American Queen bed?
An American Queen bed is usually 60" x 80", which is approximately 152 x 203cm. It is larger than a UK King but smaller than a UK Super King.
Can I buy a Wyoming King bed in the UK?
Yes. A Wyoming King bed is 84" x 84", which is the same as a 7' x 7' UK Emperor size. We can make beds and mattresses to this size.
Can you make Texas King and Florida King beds?
Yes. We can make Texas King, Florida King and other oversized American beds and mattresses to order, subject to access, delivery and practical size checks.
Can you make an American size mattress for an existing bed frame?
Yes. If you already have an American bed frame or base, measure the internal space carefully in inches and we can advise on a mattress made to fit.
